VISION
During
the course of 2005, it is hoped that the modest founding budget
can create a distinctive on-street ambiance. This could consist
of artistic street banners, hanging floral baskets from lamp standards
and unique signage. Shopping bags and other distinctive uses of
the new brand could add to the colour and a growing identity among
the public.
But
the vision anticipates significant future capital works: unique
lamp posts, brickwork and area decoration. Large traffic lay-bys
may be required to facilitate the evolution of valet parking. Success
would involve sharply attired area attendants with multiple functions:
security, valet parking, hospitality and promotion.
